Buckfastbiet
Buckfastbiet är i all dess enkelhet väldigt lättskött.

HIVE SHARE 2024
Do you want to enable increased pollination in our local environment and contribute to biodiversity? Purchase a share in a beehive and get fresh honey this autumn.
HOW IT WORKS
The agreement applies to the honey produced during the current season. A bee hive is divided into 20 shares and the honey yield is divided between the share buyers. In practice, this means that the average yield from all the hives in the apiary determines the amount of honey a share entitles to. An apiary consists of several hives. This increases your chances of getting a decent honey harvest even if an individual colony would not produce as well. Each apiary is unique and each harvest has its unique character, taste and texture. An average honey yield in Finland is 37 kg / year / colony and with us about 40 kg.
A share costs 35 euros and we guarantee you 1.5 kg of honey, which we pack as desired. The amount of honey varies from year to year mainly depending on how favorable the weather has been for both flowers and bees. Bees are good at producing honey, but like us, they can suffer from diseases and other adversity.
A share can vary between 1.5-3 kg. An average year gives you about 2 kg of honey. A good year up to 3 kg. You can buy shares regardless of whether you are a private person, a restaurant, a company or a e.g. a school class. Of course, you can also buy several shares or give them as a gift.
AS A SHAREHOLDER, YOU GET:
-
1 share = 20% of the honey yield from a beehive, still at least 1.5 kg. (The average honey yield from the hives included in the apiary is divided equally between the shareholders.)
-
Your honey canned as desired in your own or our jars.
-
Hive Share certificate as PDF. If you intend to give the share as a gift, then announce the name of the gift recipient.
AS A SHAREHOLDER, YOU CONTRIBUTE TO:
-
Pollination of the local environment and increased biodiversity.
-
Larger berry, fruit and vegetable crops.
TASTING MEETING
We will arrange a meeting for the shareholders at Nedergård in September 2024. We will discuss beekeeping and taste honey from the different apiaries. You can pick up your share at the meeting or according to another agreement. We can also send you the honey but a shipping fee will be added.
THANK YOU!
Last but not least, your share purchase helps us beekeepers by sharing the risks that a bad honey year can entail. Your share also means that we can keep more bees in the air, which nature in turn thanks for!
You can follow the bees and our work on our Facebook page and Instagram.
